Cast Aluminium

Since the restructuring and subsequence cessation of Fun Ho! Toys, much research has been done, sifting through old records, castings, and price lists. Some 'mysteries' are still unsolved, but this could be the time to report on 'progress.' It has been recorded in several reports down the years that there was a fire in the (Fun Ho!) Factory in the early days, which destroyed all early records and presumably most Lead Toys in Stock prior to 1941.

Illustrated is copy of the 1942 price lists, showing the first date 20/2/1942, the list commencing with the Lead slush-moulded toys, Nos. 1-10, (insufficient stocks had not been reached since the fire, hence the remark - "Not in Production."

Pages 2-12 are sequential pages and it will be noticed that the range of Lead Toys come first.

On the first pages the cast aluminium toys start to appear, viz.

  • No.76 Midget Racer
  • No.77 Army Plane
  • No.78 Ford Tractor
  • No.80 Large Racer
  • No.81 Oliver Tractor
  • No.91 Motor Bike
  • No.92 Tip Truck (see 'Numbered-Unknown')
  • No.93 Small Truck
  • No.94 Stake Truck (see 'Numbered - Unknown')
  • No.95 Motor Bike and Sidecar (see 'Numbered - Unknown')
  • [No.96-102 Dolls Furniture]
  • No.103 Small Tractor
  • No.104 Fordson Tractor
  • No.105 Med. Fire Engine
  • No.106 Lge Fire Engine -- produced 2 only. (see Numbered - Unknown')
