This was used in the 1940s in the earliest known book catalogue for Fun Ho!, and it was also used with Christmas and New Years cards of the same period.

It also adorned the toy boxes in a distinctive maroon colour for over 50 years, holding a large notice that had a tractor, truck, or train showing, or just "Fun Ho! Toys." These chequered maroon boxes were well known associates with Fun Ho!

That Little Red Clown

This was a re-designed version, and was used on special (very expensive!) catalogues in the late 1970s.

I've never yet heard any real approval of this cross-eyed little head, drowning in a sea of red and blue waves, and although about 60,000 6mm diameter decals were made, they didn't last long and happily were never repeated. I have seen the original printing plates, but would be unsure as to their whereabouts!

Colours varied from the ubiqitous maroon to yellow, blue, or red as the basic colour, and the clown still managed to squeeze in the triangular Tri-ang logos used on bikes, trikes, and ride-ons.
